My husband and I received a 60-minute signature facial from Maranda. She worked some real magic during that time. My skin was a little dehydrated from allergies and minimal sleep. 60 minutes later it appeared even and well-moisturized. Maranda is knowledgeable about the science of skincare. She sat me down to assess my skin and to create a treatment plan to repair damage. In addition to this, she asked me what my skincare goals are, and incorporated that information into the treatment plan. She also modified her treatment based on my current skincare regime. For example, when she learned that I was using non-prescription retinol she opted for a gentler exfoliant since Retinol can thin the skin. Overall the service was incredible, and quite affordable for the care I received. Highly recommend. ~ Jolene K

Heather and her team are so knowledgeable for the newest, most effective treatments in the beauty industry. They are the best for lash extensions, facials, laser treatments and more. I have done a significant number of spa services at HGSW, and I have had just a great experience every time. I get monthly facials with Maranda, and they are divine. These are medical grade facials so they are relaxing and pampering, but you can expect to see real, long lasting results. I have also received microneedling during the Microneedling Monday special, and I love it! Heather knows exactly how deep to microneedle so you get great results without going too deep into your skin. Finally, I absolutely love getting Fibroblast! I have had a significant amount of the plasma pen treatment, and the results are killer. Highly recommend any of the services provided by HGSW! ~ Jolene K

I am not a spa person at all, but this was right next door to where I get my hair done. I am so surprised to love it so much! It is soothing, comfortable, warm- not at all pretentious. I popped in to buy some handmade soaps as gifts on a Dec afternoon and ended up booking my first services at a spa ever! Staff is amazing- Asen rocks the front desk. Maranda Lampe is my go to for services- she is an absolute artist. After shyly trying some services out, I actually got my eyebrows tattooed and the shape and color is perfect- I get compliments all the time. It is also very easy to park and find. I hadn't had a spa day since pre-pandemic and was in dire need of a massage and facial. Heather Gordon’s custom facial and massage combo is incredible. Shamekia, my technician, was super informative, calming, gentle, yet extremely effective in getting the job done. My face, neck and chest were glowing post-treatment. She even made some amazing skincare reconditions for me to add to my regiment. Will definitely return anytime I’m in the area to keep my skin looking and feeling great. The associate who checked me in and out was also super sweet, accommodating, and knowledgeable…I believe her name was Tsen. Worth every penny in my opinion. My first appointment with Maranda was originally a one off treat yourself appointment. My previous experience with facials had not been pleasant no matter where I went or how many times I tried, but Maranda was already a trusted friend so I figured why not try again. It was easily one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. I started going back to see her on a monthly basis and 6 years later my skin is in the best condition it’s ever been in, and it keeps getting better. It wasn’t a quick process - it took work, patience, and commitment to get here - but Maranda has always listened to my needs and concerns, and together we’ve found the best skin care routine for me. Not what works for everyone else. What is best for MY skin (and away from things that are not right for me). It’s been a wonderful investment in myself, and I cannot recommend Maranda or this spa more if you are looking to start that journey for yourself. ~ Jennifer U

Maranda is a brow magician! I had my second micro-powdering touch up today and I’m in LOVE with my new brows! My brows were slightly blue before I went to Maranda since the person I went to before went too deep with brow tapping. Maranda knew exactly what to do to ensure my brows are nice and bold without any unwanted color or scar tissue. She uses an acupuncture needle with her brow gun, it’s much more gentle yet effective. She is also very particular about brow shape which is excellent! This is the kind of person you want doing your brows. If you go to Maranda, she will draw you the perfect brow for your face shape. She’s so much fun to be around! Can’t wait until my next appointment with this brow queen! I plan on scheduling a microneedling session soon since she is multitalented and does a variety of different services including lashes, brow & lash tinting, facials, plasma pen, and more! ~ Sunny B

I love this spa! First and foremost--Heather is AMAZING! Her facials will make your skin look beautiful and feel incredible. She is truly an artist with the plasma pen. And, on top of that, she is a wonderful person who contributes greatly to keeping Austin local. Heather is a self-made businesswoman, and I'm always glad to support small local businesses. The spa is cute, the staff is wonderful, it is full-service, and there is a revolving array of merchandise--candles, facial care, jewelry, CBD products--with which to give yourself an extra treat. I booked a microneedling appointment with Melissa to treat my crows feet. First thing I noticed was the place is dope! Very clean and smells amazing! The front desk was very nice, checked me in with a smile. Once I got into the room, I was a little nervous. Melissa is a Saint! She answered all my questions and concerns, made sure I was comfortable before we started. The treatment went wonderful and was surprisingly relaxing. Afterwards, she gave me instructions on aftercare and even provided a free sample to take home. If you're looking for help with skincare I can't recommend Heather Gordon enough, thanks all the staff especially Melissa! ~ Clyde H

First off, Miranda is AMAZING. As someone who has suffered with annoying hormonal/stress acne, she has been a LIFE SAVER. I have been on every antibiotic and tried every cream/wash. I finally tried going the natural route with facials and it's the only thing that helped my skin. Unlike going to the dermatologist, where they barely even look at your kin before prescribing you a pill, Miranda takes a deep look at your skin and discusses with you her ideas for a treatment plan. Her skin treatments along with her diet insights have been the only thing that has helped my skin! I was so insecure about my skin, and now don't wear face makeup most days out of the week. Miranda is completely transparent and says that clear skin is a process and won't happen overnight, but her treatments and recommendations have been the only thing to help clear my skin in 25 years. Maranda is my go to for all my beauty needs! She has helped me significantly improve the quality of my skin with monthly facials. I struggled with milia which my dermatologist treated with medicine but the issue kept coming back. After going to Maranda now for quite some time I no longer have this issue! She has taken care of me too with lip blushing and powder brows too, which has almost eliminated my daily makeup routine. Heather was extremely knowledgeable regarding a variety of skin care products and the physiology of skin as it relates to each type of product. She also knew exactly how to tailor the facial to my specific needs and only recommended skin care products (for at home) upon request. Heather Gordon spa is a true experience. I came to Heather's spa as a first-time costumer. I knew I wanted a massage but I also knew I didn't know much about the options offered. Through a fun conversion with Heather, she recommended a foot detox as well as a massage. The service and experience was excellent! I was thrilled, and go back when I can. I went to Heather Gordon Spa and Wellness yesterday for a signature facial and COULDN'T be more pleased. Miranda worked on my face with patience and professionalism... the results speak for themselves. Heather's people are truly gifted skincare professionals. I picked up some moisturizers, scrub, and serums from the front desk. My skin looks AMAZING! I think they have a special Mens-day Wednesday thing too with specials and whatnot. Best Spa in Austin Texas! Heather is one of my favorite Estheticians. You must try the facial with chemical peel or relaxing deep tissue massage. Their facials produce jaw dropping results! The Esthetician care is unmatched, they create a custom plan for each person depending on their skin. They will hook you up with the perfect facial schedule and easy home care regime. Regular massage really helps my body stay balanced and full of energy. Deep tissue massage is great for us athletes and active folks. ~ Jessica R

For anyone wondering if they should get eyelash extensions- yes do it. For those wondering who they should go to- Angelo. I heard about Angelo from a friend about 7 months ago, and the rest is history. He has years of eyelash experience and applies them so delicately. He is so easy to talk to about anything, which makes the hour re-fills fly by if you opt out of a lash nap. Angelo takes pride in his work and doesn’t apply eyelashes in a chunky way nor do they fall out 2 days after getting them. I would never go to anyone else. ~ Bre S

I usually don’t review often but I have to say that I really love this place ! It’s been hard to find a good place in Austin. The ambiance is super nice, and Miranda is amazing. I got a brow lift and it looks amazing, she made it look really natural. I had questions after the service, a couple days after and even though there was miscommunication about my appointment date/time they were super accommodating and fit me into their busy schedule. I had my initial full set with Olivia, and since then I’ve had fills with Olivia, Dory, and Angelo. ALL of them are great and you won’t be disappointed, no matter who you book with! I’m obsessed with my lash extensions so much now I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go without! The prices are reasonable considering the cost with other places. This is my go-to stop for all of my self pampering needs. Heather Gordon Spa has been taking care of my skin and spray tanning me for 10 years! All of the staff is very professional and knowledgeable about skin treatments and products.
